It is getting considerably harder to blog now that "Lily" is able to wlak, talk, and pull our tails! I was hoping that a cat level computer would be available in the basement but alas it is not to be. I do miss telling the world how hard it is to be a cat so I will try and continue to spread the message to cats everywhere.
However... This "Lily" is quite adorable, and she gives me treats, and drops food on the floor, and even gives me kisses... In return for her affections I choose to not bite her as I would any other person who dares to get so close to my whiskers...
That is all stay tuned for more of my memoirs.

It has been a while
So we are finally back. It has been a while since I could make a post about how things are going for the Cats in the Rice household. The new little person has been occupying a lot of our time. At first she was fun to watch and really did not do much. Now we have to watch out as she can move about and seems to enjoys grabbing things, especially fur and tails. She has also learned our names. She clearly says haaaahaaaa when I walk by, and Haaaaaaaaaaha when Emma goes by. I can only assume that those are our names in her native language. She is also very interested by our food dishes which has me worried, it is hard enough sharing a bowl with Emma I am NOT sharing with anyone else.... Unless it means that Mom and Dad start putting the good stuff in my bowl everyday!

4 Months Already?
Wow it sure has been a busy 4 months at our house. I have discovered that the "Thing" mom and dad brought home is called "Lily" and is now a member of our pride. I think I am ahead of her in social standing but she has been able to find some way to gain protection from Mom and Dad and I do not want to mess with them. Here is a picture of Lily in case you want to know what you are up against.

Caught in the Act
Well, my clever plan has been foiled. I was trying to capture the thing they call "Lily" when Dad caught me in the act. I think that they know I'm up to something as they put this huge tent over top of 'the thing'.
I'm not sure how they knew what I was up to but I did hear Emma making some strange noises. I thought that she was trying to warn me that Dad was coming but now I'm starting to wonder if she has ulterior motives. Hmmmm . . .

Our house has gone CRAZY!
Since my last post things have changed like crazy here. Mom got really, really, really fat in her tummy. Then she left me alone with Emma for a couple of days (well, Aunty Michelle & Uncle Rick visitied us!) When she came home she brought this 'thing' that cries really loudly and her tummy was much smaller. After investigating the 'thing' for a few weeks (well, okay, I mostly hid in the basement) I realize that it doesn't really cry that much but seems to sleep a lot and takes up all of Mom and Dad's time. Lots of people stopped by to visit us but didn't seem to care about me very much - they only wanted to hold the 'thing'.
The other day something very wierd happened - Mom and Dad left me in charge of this 'thing' they call Lily. It was rather neat to babysit - I am trying to lull my parents into thinking that I can be trusted. ha ha ha ha (evil laugh)
More about my evil plan later . . .
