Sam Vs. He-Man

So here I am looking out the window when all of a sudden I was attacked by the smallest man I have ever seen! He kept poking me and no matter how hard I hit him he wouldn't go away. I finally had to run away so he wouldn't poke out my eye with his short little arms. I will wait untill he is asleep and then pounce... Watch out little man!!!! Emma Helps with the Housework

Well, I thought that I had seen everything . . . Emma is such a suck-up to Mom. She sits with Mom, purrs when Mom pets her, and now she is helping with the chores! I can't take it. So what if I like sitting around and being lazy. I like biting Mom.

Another Thanksgiving Dinner

It seems like every year it smells like a big bird has flown into the house. It smells better and better all day and then all of a sudden there is food all over. People come and there is a lot of talking. It reminds me of that movie Anchor Man where the the weather man keeps yelling "LOUD VOICES" Then finally after being banished to the tiny room upstairs I was relased but by then the food was all gone. At least this year my captors shoved some treats under the door of my cell. Oh well I am sure Emma will fill me in as to what went on as she was spared my time in the "Cooler".

Well, it has been a great week. Mom and Dad are finally gone during the day and I can get a little uninterrupted sleep. I did find this great weapon to get Emma with when she is bugging me. Just don't tell Mom & Dad. . .

Where's Daddy?

Tonight was absolutely crazy. Mommy had all these friends over and then they drank out ot of these long slim bottles and these triangular shaped drinks and then the stripper showed up . . . I mean oops . . . Michelle showed up in her crazy underwear . . . just kidding . . . I'm drunk, oh wait, I'm Sam. I guess this is what happens when Daddy leaves. And then Melissa sang Phantom of the Opera with Mommy - it was crazy! Good thing Aunty Michelle is staying over to laugh at Mommy in the morning when she is grumpy and doesn't feel well. Hopefully they will go to bed soon and stop listening to Buttons.

Step 1 Complete !!!

Step one in my plan for world domination is complete! After making Mom mad by touching her piano over and over, and doing my time in the "cooler" (AKA The basement) Mom has finally decided to take Dad out of town and stay the night in Calgary. This will provide me with time to complete one of several possible missions.

The possible missions are:

1. Create a Fusion reactor to power a giant laser pointed at the moon.
2. Tunnel into the neighbors yard to investigate and silence the creature called "Scooter!!!"
3. Break into the catnip stores and sell them to neigborhood cats, then use the money to buy a ticket to Catopia
4. Sleep all day and furiously scratch things when Mom and Dad get home.....

Is the summer over yet?

Every day Mom & Dad are home! When are they every going to go back to work? Are they really getting paid to sit at home and bother us all day? Daddy picks me up, pets me, bothers me, flings straw on a stick at me and I JUST WANT TO SLEEP! I've tried to escape to various places in the house where I don't think that I will be found but then there is Mommy flashing bright lights into my eyes. Emma and I soon may have to escape . . .

Mom is Home!!!!

Finally after what seemed like a long time Mom is home!!! I was so escited that she was back that I wanted her to spend time with just me so I scared Emma away from her a bunch of times! But instead of being happy Mom got mad at me and put me down. :( Now Emma is sleeping at the top of the bed near where I sleep and it does not seem fair at all. I mean I was here first and everyone knows I sleep at the top and she sleeps at the bottom!!!!! Oh well at least Mom is home I am soooo happy!!!!!

We were all getting ready for bed when I realized Mom was still not home! Maybe someome has seen her? Please tell her that Emma and I miss her.

An Adventurous Night

Last night was horrible. I was playing a fun game with Mom - you know the one where there are wiggly things under the blankets and I chase them? Well, Sam said that they are Mom's fingers but I don't believe him. Anyways, we were playing and suddenly I looked over and a huge, scary, furry thing snuck up beside the bed (it looked a lot like Sam - hmmm). I was so scared that I ran across the top of the bed, flew onto a bunch of books and things and then landed near the window. It was terrible because as I was fleeing the scene I landed on Mom for a minute and I found out later that I put three really bad scratches on her tummy. Poor Mom! Now she won't want to play games with me ever again. :(

Is this blog working?

I mean really i type and type and now it won't load the website for me to continue to post about Mom and Dad... I guess it goes to show that even cats have trouble with computers... And unlike most of my problems hissing and biting does not seem to be solving it!

Why Are Mom And Dad Home?

Wow is it hot! I keep trying to hide in the basement where it is nice and cool but everytime I start to go to sleep I hear Mom and Dad upstairs! I keep waiting for them to leave like the usually do but they never do. All I want is a little quiet so I can catch a cat nap!

What happened to Daddy?

On Friday Dad dropped me and Emma off at Grandma and Grandpa's house. He didn't tell me why he was leaving so I was perplexed for a few hours and a little bit grouchy to Grandma. Sorry Grandma! Then on Sunday Mom picked us up. We had a lot of fun with our grandparents but we really wanted to see Dad. When we got home Dad had this funny thing on his leg - I think Mom called it a Snake, no wait, an Ace, no that's not right - Oh I remember - it is a Brace. Poor Dad! Since he got home he has been laying on the couch and hasn't moved. Sometimes he even makes strange noises like he is hurt. :( I purred near him and he seemed a lot happier.
Later Mom and Dad were looking at his leg and this is what I saw:

I heard Mom and Dad talking and they said that Dad tore a ligament in his ankle at an Ultimate Frisbee Tournament in Calgary. I wonder if that means that he will be staying home with me for the next few days? hmmmm I sure hope so!!!!

Mom and Dad are Sad...

Today Daddy put on his special shirt (The Blue and Silver One) and took Mommy out before it got dark. I waited by the front door and heard a lot of people yelling in the other houses around us but I could tell none of the voices was Dads.

After a long time Mom and Dad came home and both of them were sad... I tried to make them feel better but nothing I did helped. Dad even cut off all the fur on his face for some reason, I liked his fur it made him look like me.

Daddy hung up his special shirt and made a soft sound that I knew meant he was sad... Then he made a sound that sounded like meow bbbeee Neyxt Yeer? and went to bed after looking a pictures like this one on the internet.

At least I got my treats like Daddy said I would.

Go Oilers

Wow the people around here are sure getting crazy!!! It seems like every 2 or 3 days they all gather around the big glowing box in the basement... Here we are trying to get a little sleep and they are screaming and jumping up and down every few minutes.

I tried to let them know that I was trying to sleep but they kept saying "Bad, Bad, Bad..." Finally daddy promised that he would give us treats when the Oilers win the cup... What is a cup?.... MMM... Treats.

Why Is IT So Light?

Does anyoe know why the sun stays up sp late? I mean really I lay down for bed at 9Pm and it still day outside... I have no idea what is going on, I am so tired I have to sleep all day just to make up for the slep I am missng at night! I can't wait for night to last 10 or 12 hours again that was sweet!

Their Here, Then Gone, Then Here, Then Gone...

It seems Mom and Dad are hardly around at all anymore. They come home sleep pack their bag things and go. Just yesterday they filled the red car with all kinds of stuff and left! We were sure they would not be back until much later, maybe days! Then late last night they came home! They smelled funny and were wet but they were home. We all had a nice night together I am so glad they are home!

Ms. Ficus is Shrinking

Something very strange has been happening at my house. For the last few weeks I have been watching Ms. Ficus and she has definitely been on a diet. She was leaving her body parts around on the floor and I was very worried. Then the next day when I went to look she had completely shrunk and got very bushy. I tried to let Mom and Dad know but they thought that I was just being bad. Hmmmmmmmm. Maybe Aliens did it!

Spring is in the Air

Well since Mom and Dad got home it sure has been an interesting time of year! The sun is up all the time and we have to hide downstairs to get any sleep at all. Not to mention the fact that Mom and Dad seem to be gone all the time with all these new people who come by holding these large plastic plates... I think that they must be sneaking out to eat dinner somewhere else!!! Other than that the smells are exciting and well it is nice to finally be able to sit in the sun and get warm before I have a nap.

Hmmm Do Cats Get Easter Treats?

Well I always thought that Mom and Dad were silly. Here it is Easter weekend and no extra treats for us! I tried to tell Mom and she got mad so i bit her hand thinking she would get the idea and get the treats out but instead I got locked in a room. I said sorry after but still no treats. I hope someone figures out that we want treats too!

What Does This Note Mean

Yesterday we received a letter about our Mom and Dad. It was full of weird information!! Maybe you can help us figure it out.

"Your Mom and Dad are in an Apple, it is a large apple. With them in the apple are 1400 foot tall buildings, a large green lady, carts full of meat, and numerous tiny dogs... Also many people know your Mom and Dad and seem to always honk their horns at them to say hi."

If you see them please let us know even though Grandma and Grandpa spoil us we really do miss our parents.

Yikes I'm Being Cat-Napped!!!!!

Have you seen this man who tried to cat-nap my sister today? I'm very worried as she is not the sharpest crayon in the pack. I think if he comes back she might go with him if he has treats! (She can be a little bit guilable.)

I sure do love lion!

Today was a great day. I got into a big wrestling match with lion and I won! I'm so strong and tough. Then I bit mommy on the arm. She was very mad but I snuck up on her when she wasn't looking. hee hee
I can't wait for tomorrow. I'm sure it will be another exciting day.

Why has Mommy been home for 4 days?

It has been a crazy last few days. Mommy has been here EVERYDAY! She just is so lazy though. All she has been doing is lying in bed, coughing, and watching television. She is so boring. The only fun part is that the bed stays much warmer which helps me to have numerous naps.

Hiding from Emma

Today was a pretty interesting day. Emma decided that she liked following me around so I carefully snuck away from her and hid in different spots around the house all day. She wasn't able to find me! I'm such a Super Smart Sophisticated Savy Kitty! ha ha ha (evil laugh)
Then Mom and Dad got home. They keep wanting to ignore me. They are really busy with this crazy round object on top of their monitors. I don't know what it is but I kept hearing Rick and Michelle's voices and saw their pictures on the screen. Hmmm. Well, I got their attention by waving my tail in front of Mom's face and she came and chased me around the house. Simple human! So easily manipulated! I'm not sure what tomorrow will bring but I know it can't top today's amazing events.
